Directions to Illawong Lodge, Yarram from Tullamarine Airport
Exit airport on the Tullamarine freeway (43) – you will need to get a “toll way ticket from the car hire firm. The airport is to the North of Melbourne.
Travel to the South East of Melbourne turn left into the turning of ‘Kingsway- Queens Road’. Travel a short distance 5 – 10 minutes.
Turn left onto ‘Dandenong Road’ which then turns into ‘Princess Highway’. Travel for approximately 2 hours through Pakenham. Warragul heading towards Morwell.
The third Morwell exit C475 will be sign posted ‘Loy Yang Power Station’ continue until you see the turning for the C482 to Yarram. This road will end at a T – junction, turn right heading towards Yarram. (Yarram sign might not be signposted at the T – junction).
Go through Yarram. (Approximately 5 mins in car)
When leaving Yarram you will go past ‘The Yarram Country Club’ on your right. 0.5 km later you will pass the ‘Tarra Motel’ on your left then the ‘Ship Inn’ on your right.
4 km later you will pass the ‘Alberton Pub / Victoria Hotel’ on you right.
1 km later you will see the ‘Shell Petrol Station’ on you right. Take the turning to the left signposted for ‘C452 Port Albert / Tarraville’.
0.5 km later travel over a small bridge and take the next turning to the left signposted for Tarraville ‘Robertson’s Beach and Illawong Lodge / Fishwell Lodge.
Keep turning left on the made road, approximately 3 km to Tarraville, across the new bridge then 500 meters to small road junction, sign must show ROBERTSONS BEACH,. Turn right, if you go past the turn off the next junction is only 100 to 200 meters, shows Manns Beach, Mcloughlans Beach at Y road junction. THIS IS WRONG…. STOP STOP STOP!!! GO BACK to Robertsons Beach sign, you now turn left to Robertsons Beach.
2 km down Robertsons Beach Road, you will see the sign post for Robertsons Beach. The turning for Langs Road, (The Lodge) is the next on the right before the road bends left. Turn very hard right. This is the Langs Road.
Take the next turn from left into the driveway of the Lodge.
